There must be some issue with the licence as the scottish councill cleared Craig Mcewan at the last hearing and id imagine scott coulda been on the same agenda
Harrison-Walsh was a ten round fight, so how did Walsh beat him with 3/4 rounds when Scott clearly won the first 4 rounds of that fight, you can give Scott the last round as well. I think you need to watch that fight again and be honest with yourself pal. Scott never lost that fight admit it.
Actually, he clearly lost the fight, I remember watching it myself. He was on the verge of nearly getting stopped at one point in either the last or second to last round, he was really tired. Walsh won by a few rounds even though Scott started quite well he faded badly, I'm not sure how anyone thought he won the fight?
I had this fight very very close. I think couldn't of argued either way. I think Walsh got the benefit of the better quality punches.. Scott was very messy and his work rate dropped as the fight went on.
Same i cant for the life of me see how anybody had it remotley close , Harrison was blocking punches with his face
Harrison did enough against Walsh IMO, but I thought a draw would have been a fair result. I'm not surprised by some posters who disagree because their dislike for Scott has clearly clouded their judgement.
I don't like him no, he's an alcoholic waster but if there's one thing I despise it's people who can't put feelings to one side and be impartial, I've never once argued that a fighter didn't win a fight because deep down I don't like him, I'll always be honest about that and IMO Scott Harrison did not beat Liam Walsh.
Fine that's your opinion, but it's not mine. I'm not the only one who thought the fight was close. I don't know why you're getting so upset about it.
I'm not upset ? I said some Scottish don't actually think he won, you then made a dig about people letting there dislike blind there impartial judgement and I'm just letting you know that's not the case.
Well you sound upset and don't know why you're bringing nationality in to it. Anyway I didn't dig you out directly, but you proved my point exactly of people judging Scott because of his past when you said you didn't like him and he was an alcoholic waster. That man has won two world titles shame on you.
Boxing World Champion - Yes Alcoholic Waster - Yes What about that isn't true ? Was he a boxing world champion ? Yes he was and in his prime a very good fighter, has he also wasted his life from a very good position both in his professional career and in life ? Yes, hence the term waster. I have no time for guys who make excuses simply because they can't put a bottle of alcohol down. He had everything and drank it all away or at least lost it all through drink.
I used to be a big Scott Harrison fan but when he wasted his talent I started to dislike him. I didn't want him to come back as it would ruin his legacy which in some ways it has. He won me around in the Walsh fight.. It was close but it was the right decision
I think most are just being honest mate , when yer times up its up in boxing , Harrison looked the exact same against walsh the way Hatton did against Senchenko and Rendall Munro in his last 3 fights , it just wasnt there , lack of head movement and blocking shots wae yer coupon isnt gonna win fights imo
