What is going on with Scott Quigg not had a fight since Munroe on Hatton undercard and none lined up. Anyone know what is happening?
Several times in the past year. McGuigan, Hearn, Frampton all said it, never been a response from Quiggs team. Quigg also vacated the British title.
I read they had to find him a fight by end if June as he was not happy! It's not looking too good at the moment!
hatton without a tv deal is slowing down his career. im surprised he turned down the frampton fight, hes always talking about it like he wants the fight
Ive sent a few messages to Ricky via twitter asking about Scott and never had a response, doesnt mean much but if i talk footy with him he replies. something is obviouisly not quite right-not purely based on this of course but the silence in general from his team leads me to think this way
According to the scene, he has been ordered to fight Yoandris Salinas to fight for the "Regular" WBA belt. If they don't reach a deal by 14th June it goes to purse bids.
I heard a rumour that hatton and co are pissing him about and don't seem to be able to come up with anything for him prob due to the tv situation I'm guessing.
Joe Gallagher is fuming about Quigg's inactivity, no doubt he will be whispering in Scott's ears telling him to leave Hatton, can't blame him.
