I think when hatton lost it ruined his 'plans' to get back on tv and piggyback his best fighters along with him. Now he's screwed

Gallagher tends to spout of his mouth alot. What he needs to do is the kid away from Hatton as soon as possible.

Salinas has a decent record but I have never seen him fight. Does anyone know about him?

Matchroom, Goldenboy, Even TopRank would want him

I don't understand how Hatton isn't jumping all over GBP's venture into the British market. He should be teaming up with them, putting on regular shows with his fighters and share each promoter's resources.

I'm sick of seeing so many fighters' careers stagnating for no good reason apart from their promoter's inability to do their job.

He needs to get a title fight of some sort and be asking them to write options in to it

Quiggs on massive money with Hatton though. Won't get the same deal elsewhere.

Problem for Quigg is hes jumped from British/European level and now hes in with World Class. This Salinas guy is such a step up and with 8 months out of the ring?

There needs to be something in between especially at the lower weights. Look at Framptons last 3 fights, Hirales, Molitor & Martinez, thats quality matchmaking for a fighter on his way to a world title. Quiggs has been Munroe, Arhur & Booth. Its not the same!

The longer the Frampton fight doesnt happen the less chance i give Quigg of beating him.

It's crazy to me he hasn't built of the momentum he got from the Munroe win. He was the big winner that night and with Hatton losing the press were all over him. They had to use that momentum and get him out again relatively quickly. Speaks volumes they guy he beat so comfortably retired and will of had 2 fights again before Quigg is back in the ring. At this stage of his career activity is key. He's going to potentially throw it all away by not fighting often enough.

Hatton doesn't come off as a serious promoter.

not sure how anyone could make that statement, not saw him personally but his record of who hes faced reads like a Brit prospect, not saying the boy couldnt be very good but against that level of competition it would be hard to judge how good he is.
