Is against Gavin Reid for the vacant English Title. It would be easy to look down upon Reid as an opponent but I think that he is a decent opponent when you take into consideration a number of factors.

    He is another durable opponent.
This on the Undercard with lots of other big fights involving titles and big name (Murray for the Commonwealth and Watson is also on the card)
Only 2 months after his last outing
Quigg hasn't faced the greatest level of oppo so far it would be one almighty risk throwing him into a title fight at the moment.

Good keep busy fight and if he looks good again then he should look for a British or European Title shot.

Wouldn't mind seeing Quigg in against Wale or the Irish chap who won Prizefighter. Quigg will win both, but they're both gutsy, ambitious and tough fighters that will make for quality domestic scraps.

I like the look of Quigg though. If Ricky goes the way he has been, Quigg will get good learning fights on his way to 25_30 fights. I reckon any prospect Ricky takes onto World level will be well prepared.

Reid was in Prizefighter, the one who put down ricky owen, right? It's definitely a step up, but Quigg should have few problems.

Murray is supposed to be fighting for the vacant Commonwealth Title wouldn't be suprised to see Francis Cheka actually make it over this time. No word on Watson he should get his ass back down to Welter and just take an 8 rounder to keep busy and then go for a vacant British Title shot against Marc Thompson in the fall (let's be real no chance in hell that we see him and Jennings)

Exactly absolutely terrible would have been a natural fight to make sadly yet another case of promoters ****ing up. What's the betting that FW ****s around with the Ryan Rhodes fight just to **** up Hatton and Rhodes :-(
