No reason for that ****...Ali showed his tolerance and sense of humor here...can you imagine the reaction from other name fighters? That kid should have been reprimanded and thrashed by a nearby adult at the point that he started hitting Ali. i don't believe in letting some ******* kid get away with atrocious behavior like that.
Ali really was a sport,...a good natured sport, in that post '74-'77 period. He was very good natured and decent, whereas some of the assholes today wouldn't have been,

I don't know if you are on troll mode now but if you are not, yeah, Ali hit him pretty hard. I wouldn't like that either, but to respond with a punch in the face? in my life, I've never seen a kid do that. Multiple punches right in the face because someone does that. Most kids that respond would just do what Ali did back to him.
I'm very surprised by these comments. It was just a joke. If the kid had tried to punch him or slap him without gloves, with bad intentions, then fair enough. But the kid had huge gloves on that hardly fit, and Ali kept provoking him and wanted him to react like that for the cameras. If the kid had gotten seriously angry, Ali obviously wouldn't have kept it going. There was nothing wrong there at all.
