So far he's taken the punches of Kermit Cintron, Paul Williams and Kelly Pavlik. All of them are at least pretty decent punchers. He was officially KD'd by both Pavlik and Williams, but both were more balance issues where he immediately got up unhurt. Pavlik seemed to buzz him from time to time with clean punches, and he may have been genuinely hurt once or twice, but considering he was a natural 154 pounder taking a natural 168 pounder's punch, I'd say he took those shots admirably.

What say you? How likely is it he gets stopped at this stage in his career?

He's rolling those punches. They look like they're landing flush but they arent. He got caught by a few punches that stopped him in his tracks, but largely didnt seem to be fazed.

He boxes with his head down so he's bound to get caught, but its safe to say his chin is really good.

Has there ever been a big headed argentinian fighter that didnt have a good chin?

To be very honest I really don't think his chin is that good. He can take some punishment and has heart but I think if he would get hit with a couple of good shots in succession he would be out of there.

It's just that it's hard to land on him consitently cuz he's very slippery and can duck and slip punches well.

Well, he has been caught by some genuinely good punches by guys that can punch and he's generally shaken them off, if he was affected by them at all. I don't think you can say it's all skill and reflexes that account for it, because you can clearly see to the contrary on film.

Williams' long awkward punch landed to the back of the head and there was some balance issues vs. 178lbs Pavlik as well. He was 100% clear after both counts. Martinez has a great chin, but often being overexcited makes him forget all the goods he has from time to time. He could've easily avoided both knockdowns.

He's been slightly hurt by single shots before, but (other than Margo) I haven't seen anyone able to get him back in the pocket for a follow-up (or even the 3rd punch of the combination) before he's recovered.

His defense is good and he's shown the ability to shrug off the off punch that catches him out of position. Martinez is not a fighter that gets hit flush often(in either fights or sparring) so he has a good chance to have a sustained career without ever being seriously hurt - until he naturally begins to decline with age.

Argies pretty much always have had good chins.

    Victor Ramirez, Garay, Martinez, Locche

    Argentinians are some tough dudes.

Chin seems sturdy to me. Even his TKO loss 10 years ago to Margarito he was as adept at avoiding punches and he was taking CLEAN uppercuts all night long, so much so its kinda surprising he made it as long as he did.

He was out on his feet at the end of the Williams fight, mainly through exhaustion though, showed great heart rather than great punch resistance. I don't think Williams is a big puncher either, nor do I think Martinez was legitimately hurt at the KD, but I think he was stunned at times in the fight. I'd say it's very solid, but not great, as MichiganWarrior says it's probably a lot to do with his ability to roll and slip punches and not let them land flush.
