Surprising it came against a relatively featherfisted cruiserweight

I just saw the replay, what a joke  I thought Banks would win by late TKO or decision, Mitchell is garbage. He got completely annihilated, Even Julius Long made it to a decision against Banks LMAO.

Mitchell was already exposed by Witherspoon. Still, it's one loss....should everyone write him off already?

Now as soon as Wilder steps up and faces a live body he gets exposed.

Ever considered that Fury and Price are just as untested as Mitchell was and that they might end up in a similar position if they ever step it up against a well-drilled guy like Banks?

His chin will be his downfall, but he isn't done. He is a cool dude and is an exciting fighter.

No, he has punch, and is game, but guy just fights clumsy and is wide open. I don't like to knock trainers, but let's say he either does not listen, can't learn, or they can't teach. Guy is wide open for a right hand, and just keeps getting hit, can't clinch, looks like he is in first fight at times.

Banks got it done, he deserves big match.

Price and Fury beat Banks aswell.
They are untested though,Price moreso than Fury but they're both levels ahead of the likes of Mitchell.
We all know Banks was brought in as a stepping stone,he's not even a natural heavy and he ****ing destroyed
    Mitchell.

He was exposed last fight. I doubt we see Michell again on HBO. HBO tried to save face by constantly bringing up Steward when interviewing Banks.

I haven't seen the fight since it was not broadcast here, but I think the USA may need to look elsewhere for it's next champion.

The thing is, is that Banks is not considered a world beater at heavyweight, in fact he's not really even a true heavyweight, and it sounds to me like he beat Mitchell pretty easily.

Mitchell is 30 now, and a loss like this definitely knocks Mitchell down the list of 'guys to watch'. Time isn't on his side.

I think it highlights how important it is to have a good solid foundation in amateur boxing. Seth has the physical tools but not the experience and at this stage, it may be too late to really build that solid foundation.

I'm upset that Mitchell lost...I am a fan of the guy, but this is a sobering result.
