wow man. i used to hate baroni because of his loud mouth and i wanted him to get beaten up by shamrock. but after seeing him not tap out, i just gotta give him props. i heard he's out 6-7 months. i hope he recovers quicker.
Shamrock is still an *******. I respect this guy only because he was the prototypical MMA athlete who could truly do it all.His wasted most of his career pratting around in hollywood trying to be an actor and basically being a jerk.I mean he knows the rules why did he rabbit punch Baroni like that? Why did he DQ himself in his last fight with Renzo? If thats his MO quit MMA and pit fight illegally that way he can get away with all his usual bull**** tactics.
Sham was acting a ***** and it did make me think come on Baroni. He NEARLY turned it around but Sham sealed the deal. However when he did Baroni totally won us over by not tapping. Sham kicked him off and it pissed me off a bit.
30 seconds into the fight, Baroni tore his groin muscle off the bone apparently. He had been having problems with his hamstring and had received cortizone shots around his hip region to allow to train. When the groin tore, a large piece of intestine erupted through the muscle and he fought with a baseball sized hernia under his shorts. This is all according to his manager on Sherdog's Beatdown radio. He will be out for the remainder of the year.
Shamrock also had a torn mcl and acl (according to him) I thought it was funny when he did the "head on pillow" motion.
I didnt like that either.Baroni never tapped and took his like a man.But Frank is just a ****. Hopefully he goes to 205 and gets his ass handed to him.What would be better is seeing his punk ass come back to the UFC and get brutalised id definitly love that.
