I wasn't in the room with him during surgery, but what else could have happened? Everyone noticed his nose was different in between fights. Floyd was clowning on him about it. I don't know how else it could have changed in such a short period of time.
He didn't need to have have suffered any injury in the fight he had been getting punched in the face since he was a child and had probably difficulty breathing or just thought it looked ugly and decided to get surgery
Morales got his nose broken a few times, I remember reading something about it breaking twice in the 2nd Pacquiao fight and Morales mentioned how he felt a loose piece of bone in his nose. Was probably just a surgery to remove years of scar tissue build up from previous fights/sparring. He could have been getting a deviated septum fixed also. Who knows though.
