They were briefly mentioned during the fight but i didnt know what they were and the commentators passed them by, I saw Jack Mosley at ringside why have shane and jack split again?
The way HBO presented it every major facet of Shane Mosley's life was in turmoil if not completely falling apart when he entered the ring on Saturday night. The things he's been facing would make alot of people crawl into a hole with a bottle of Jack Daniels. Instead he went out there and put on the perfomance of his life. Pretty moving ****.
He's a better fighter without that over-bearing woman in his life, and Jack may have lost the passion or had taken him as far as he could. His personal life may suck right now but his fighting has been elevated, even if it was only for a brief time or just that fight.
Yup, i was very worried for Shane as HBO listed the rather long list of problems that had hit him just recently, even having to come down from Big Bear with 2 weeks left to finalize his divorce. Sad. Always seemed Shane and Jin were boxings golden couple.......Guess we can hope no pictures of Shane turn up with fish nets on.
Shane's dad never struck me as a good trainer, or a good much of anything. Solid, but Mosley has always been a elite, world class talent deserving more then that. His dad's late fight advice against Wright was flat out irriating. "YA' GOTTA KNOCK HIM OUT SON." No **** dad?
