shavers vs willard.....

can and does shavers ko or beat this giant?

 

Willard wears him out and scores a TKO victory.

Shavers was no where near the finisher that Jack Dempsey was, and Willard was pretty durable overall and had great stamina.

 

Agree, I think Willard beats him in a 15 plus round fight.

I dont see Shavers getting the ko or even a stoppage over Willard.

shavers by kayo the giant would be getting hit with body shots that would seem like getting hit by a sledge hammer that would wear the giant down and eventually lead to a shavers win via middle rounds kayo:think

 

I think the Willard of Havana outlasts any version of Shavers. The height of Tiger Williams posed some obvious logistical issues for Earnie, and Jess was very effective at using his height for defensive purposes in Cuba. Willard just too tough and durable at the peak of preparedness.

This is the way I see it

 

shavers by stoppage, i see shavers catching and hurting willard a few times but this not a one sided fight. as i am taking this to be with a modern ref and there for under modern rules i see willard stopped on his feet hurt and dazed but perhaps thinking that he could of gone on

 

shavers ko before the sixth round finishes

 

Willard stops him like the in the Cobb fight
