This is a common theme of late. No question. Showtime>Hbo and it's not even close.

GBP owning Top Rank as well.

Honestly whoever the match maker at GBP is, he should have a high class you know what waiting in his hotel room tonight to give it to 'im you know where....cause that was one of the best cards I've ever seen.....and he's the ****ing man!!!

And eventually that'll tell in subs and increase numbers. HBO is honestly in danger of losing their boxing related business. Most people only have enough money to subscribe to one of these specialty networks.....and if cards link this keep getting put on then sorry to say but lots of people will be jumping ship.

These LWW and WW show downs they keep putting are classic and the lower wt class Mexico vs the world filler fights their putting on are killer as well. They should stick to that fromula. HBO and Top Rank would be well advised to take notes.

The only thing that HBO frankly has on Showtime right now is the fight game......and that's not saying much considering its a once every couple of months half an hour program that is too wonkish for casual fans and not wonkish for hardcores.

Its because Goldenboy have the best collection of fighters. And the most entertaining Punchers and brawlers.

This split was the best thing to ever happen to boxing. I doubt we would have seen such great cards from GBP, had they been allowed to keep putting up hyped fights on both networks and separating their fighters.
