Banks is about to get right hand happy now. Jabbing and popping on Banks. Banks is clearly going for a 1-2 strategy to win where as Adamek just waits. Adamek answers jab for jab as Banks has that right hand cocked. His chin is all out in the open with the left hand basically hanging by his dick. Jab contest right now and Banks may be winning it.

 

Adamek looks a bit surprised at how fast Banks is. Banks goes for the right hand again. More jabs from Banks. Adamek is eating jabs Pac Man style. Adamek lands a right hand but only one.

Adamek needs to get more active, Banks needs to lift his hands up. I got it 2-0 Banks.

Adamek is chasing and picking up the pace. Lots of jabs from Banks but Adamek looks to be approaching his "riddum" as one would say. Banks is moving and forcing Adamek to chase. Right hand lands on Adamek and the crowd cheers. Adamek in control now as Banks is still 1-2 searching. Adamek is just waiting to turn on the juice it seems, he's trying to chase down Banks. Banks LANDS a nice counter and slips out. Adamek lands a right but not enough to hurt Banks. Banks is very calm in there. Round ends with a weak range jab from Banks.

Banks is beginning to get grabby clinchy now.


BIG RIGHT BY BANKS and Adamek walks through it. Adamek has a killer jaw. Banks has good timing on Adamek, Adamek is starting to heat up with the right hand. Adamek is moving and chasing. Both fighters are looking for counter opportunities, neither one seems happy to throw. Banks likes to grab. ADAMEK HURT WITH A BIG HOOK! Adamek has been hurt twice by Banks.

 

Adamek is getting timed now like a sap. Adamek needs to gas it up as Banks is looking extremely elusive for a guy with little to no head movement. Round ends with Adamek trying to push Banks into the corner and pound away. Adamek's corner is telling him to slow things down. They're telling h im he's way too anxious.

Adamek is heating up. Urgency perhaps? He's getting Banks in the corner but just isn't putting combinations together. He's happy to throw one big punch and hoping Banks will go down. If Adamek commits to more combination then he wins this fight.

That was his round as Banks didn't do much of anything. Adamek has momentum now.

Farhood sums up Adamek in a nut shell "Too much posing from Adamek" When Adamek throws combos, he controls the fight. Banks is fine with just countering and timing and so far that's keeping him in the fight. Adamek with a low blow on Banks because Banks pushed his head down.
