    Do boxers (amateur or pro) have to wear shorts or can they wear whatever they choose as long as it doesnt affect the health and safety rules?

    I think someone would be a badass if they just walked down to the ring in normal trainers, jeans and T shirt and then just took off their shirt to fight. They could leave their shirt, keys, phone and wallet lying in a pile by the side of the ring. Presumably the need for a proper protective cup means you can't do that

    Judging by the avatar, this is an 'awrah' question? If so, you can just rock long shorts that cover the knees..
