Looking forward to this on Wed :bbb

BoxNation will broadcast live coverage of Lee Selby’s British and Commonwealth Featherweight title defence against John Simpson on Wednesday 14 December at the York Hall. The event had been scheduled to be televised live by Sky Sports, however they have since withdrawn from televising it.
Promoter Frank ******, who has a contract with Sky, is disappointed about the broadcaster’s late change of mind but plans to continue to work with Sky to televise further fights in the future.
Selby headlines the show with the first defence of his titles that he won in a stunning upset against the then unbeaten star Stephen Smith in September.
Tough Scotsman Simpson will be looking to regain the British and Commonwealth titles that he has previously held.
Chief support on the card is Steve O’Meara’s first defence of the Southern Area Light-Middleweight title – that he won with a stunning first round KO of Ryan Toms – against Nathan Weise.
BoxNation is a subscription only channel, available on Sky Channel 456 and Virgin Media Channel 546.

It was moved to Boxnation weeks ago. They were a little naughty not taking it off the website until recently.

cheeky *******s,,i made the decision that i would keep skysports over boxnation,,but bollocks now--you can't list and advertise a fight then remove it (well they have!) ,,surely thats like pricing up a product for cheaper in a shop, then say oh actually it's more expensive now...
    ...bye bye sky:hi:

    Late switcheroo.

I don't think it's affected the time. BN has it shaded out from 8pm-11pm UK time.

I'm guessing that means Selby and Simpson in the ring about 10pm? (since BN is apt to show live undercard leading up to the main event, unlike SKY who launch right into the headliner and then show chopped-up tape-delayed undercard afterward).

Quality domestic fighters and a Southern Area co-main event. Don't see Skys problem to be honest. Its as good a domestic main events as you can get.

Sky didn't have a problem. I'm pretty sure they wanted it, but Frank wanted to have it on Boxnation.

Have Boxnation announced those eight fights that we were gonna hear about "in the next 48 hours"?
