I don't envy the judges trying to score that fight. Neither came to win. It would have been better to call it a draw and then just ban them from fighting each other ever again.

Skeete won that fight all day long the guy commentating was so far up Gavin's **** pipe it was disturbing. The guy was scoring rounds to FG when Skeete was clearly winning rounds with his jab and uppercuts and then moving of to his left to go again the lad did it all night and FG didn't have an answer to it. SHOCKING DECISION!!!!

 

Box nation and sky will always promote there own via commentary, however I thought Frankie won yes unconvincing but he won

 

You always thought the Burns - Beltran decision was fair.

i wouldnt have argued at a Draw tbh , but with his experience Gavin should be dealing with guys like skeete with ease , Gavins whole persona and performances are muck imo

It was close, but Gavin won IMO. Skeete fought a good fight, he landed some flashy single shots and made it difficult for Gavin to hit him cleanly, but in the end the fight went the way I thought it would. Frankie was too experienced and ring smart for him and he was the only one who pressed the fight and that's what won him it at the end. Big lesson learned for Skeetes, good effort though.
