FW will probably say "I told you I'd get the winner of Skelton-Sprott II a tidle shot" the truth is he said he'd get the winners of Williams-Skelton I and II a shot and didn't and said he couldn't get either guy a shot after Skelton Sprott as they looked so bad. I expect Chagaev's people just want an easy fight.
Worse DK promoted fighters are easily getting In the WBA's top 15 though. Guys like Kali Meehan were out In 32 seconds by Williams then he beats journymen and gets a WBO shot and Is now In the WBA top 15. Skelton deserves It as much as most the WBA top 15 who shouldn't be there. Valuev got there with an Intercontinental belt.
Then Skelton versus David Haye! :good WBA strap as the Carrot for FW to sign Haye. He should have been with FW from the start!
winning record, very winnable, needs a comeback fight after the hepatitus thing that wont push him to his absolute limits. makes perfect sense. loads of bads fighter took world title fights before at least chagaev has an excuse note
The best description of Skelton I have ever heard. I don't ever want to watch this man fight ever again and couldn't care less if he wins or loses. He does seem a nice chap but **** watching him 'box'. I'd much rather watch A-Force.
Agreed all round, really. I like Skelton, but Chagaev would seem to be a class (or two) above all round and should be able to handily outbox him. Skelton's a durable chap though, so Chagaev shouldn't be silly about it. Still, good luck Morph. Hope you win.
