Skelton by stoppage. Other than the joke that is Audley Harrison, who has Rogan beaten? I would take either to beat Valuev though...... as well as my soon to be one year old nephew!
really dont see why skelton by stoppage is at such short odds. both have questionable skill levels, though obviously skelton has improved alot over the years, but skelton doesnt have great KO power, nearly every decent fighter he's faced he's had to go the distance with, bar vidoz, and i cant see rogan doing what vidoz did. granted rogan has only beaten harrison and won the prizefighter, but he's certainly proven for me that he's at the very least a durable opponent, and wont lie down and let skelton maul him like he did vidoz. definitely a distance fight for me, and the odds on skelton on points are excellent. and though it's unlikely, i think a couple of quid on rogan is worth it aswell.
rogan by ud . rogan looks fit as **** at the press confrence he will be moving around the ring all night . skelton will be too slow and will tuire by the 6th or 7 th
Rogan did beat future undisputed HW champ Audley Harrison....It'd be stupid to think Skelton will last longer than 4 rounds!!! :yep Nahh, id take Skelton by a pretty comfortable decision in a boring fight :tired
I really like Rogan but he is just a smaller less powerful and less everything version of Matt Skelton so I can not see past A Skelton win and probably by stoppage. Rogan will be brave and fit but where he has been able to out muscle and hustle opponents in previous fights he will find a giant brick wall in front of him here plus Skelton has decrnt skill to fall back on for these types of opponents. Rogan will be able to come back and still be poplular at British level. Hopefully a fight against the winner of Williams vs McDermott or lads like Sosnowski or Greenberg.
Skelton is pushing 43; his right hand has been broken many times. Rogan's unbeaten and super fit. It usually takes some beating to stop boxers like him. This isn't a foregone conclusion by any means.
Love to see Rogan do this but it's unlikely, Skelton has a horrible style but it's effective and he's been in with better opposition.
He was underdog against Dolan - He won. He was underdog against Audrey - He won. He is underdog against Skelton - :think Here's hoping he completes the hatrick.
