Boxxers diversity project has been a massive failure.

In Bens dream world now his plan was for Okolie to be a PPV star and 'the face of sky sports boxing', and Buatsi and Riakporhe current world champions and the boxing diehards somehow becoming enthralled by womens boxing.

Reminds me of Steve Mclaren getting the England job and being completely out of his depth.

Or John Barnes who'd never managed before somehow getting the Celtic managers job just cause he was friends with Kenny Dalglish.

Difference is they got sacked quickly. Sky have had to put up with Shalom for 4 years.

There are several who have whispered in my ear that Matchroom Boxing is working (behind the scenes) to return to Sky Sports.

I honestly think you should wait a few days until Boxxer calls a press conference and announces their future plans.

    Boxxer's future looks bright.

Yesterday was the first time I’ve heard Hearn acknowledge that he was much better off on Sky than DAZN.

I think Hearn certainly would admit the content available to drum up fighters, build them just via sky sports news with interviews 'gloves are off' etc all makes his job way easier. Eddie if nothing else, I'm not his biggest fan can sell a fight/fighter Shalom the polar opposite.

Saturday nights when winter kicks in and having Boxing cards on Sky after a 5-30 football match, Hearn really had a ready made audience.
DAZN unless you are invested in the sport and actively looking to watch boxing a lot of casual fans have simply no idea when the cards are on and a lot of fighters they simply don't know.

Don’t have any time for anyone who doesn’t have the brain capacity to have seen through it from the start, worst of the worst.

    Yep pretty much this.

Its been plain to see that Promoters like Fish eyes and Fast car are way better qualified and more knowledgeable of the game and just better promoters.

Shalom did not surround himself with experienced boxing people and made a lot of avoidable mistakes as a result. He would have been more successful had he surrounded himself with good people. But even then I doubt he gets the better of the big boys on the block.

If Hearn went back to Sky, what would happen to his US business. I doubt that DAZN would keep him on stateside if he jumped ship. He wouldn’t have a US broadcaster.

Ye apparently they have a big deal to announce....I'm guessing Sky wanted an exclusive deal.
Good news is that sky are staying in boxing.
