Just thought I would share this info with my fellow boxing addicts.

I just called Sky to cancel the Sky Sports Dual pack (Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 & xtra) and to only keep Sky Sports 1. Although last nights Fury-McDermott fight was on Sky Sports 2, all other boxing for the next 2 months at least is on Sky Sports 1. Hence, I decided I would cancel the other Sports channels (i.e. 2, 3 & xtra) to save £9 per month.

As soon as I told the Sky rep that I wanted to do this, he asked me why and I told him it was because the boxing is on Sky Sports 1. So he immediately offered me 20% discount on my total Sky bill (for the next 6 months) if I keep in the Sky Sports Dual Pack. It means that I still save about £8 per month on my sky subs and still keep all of the sports channels....

*I was tempted to add ESPN with the money that I have saved but didnt, and I will not add it until they get some live boxing on...

    Thank you for sharing that.

Reminds me of when called AOL to cancel my dads internet. They said if you stay for another year we will give you 6 months free and the other 6 months at half price.
