Just had to phone sky to order the fight as my interactive wont work.Moaned on and on about how unfair it all is with the fight being ppv and got a decent discount on the sports package for the next 3 months.I only pay £5 now.If anyone else aint bought the fight yet its worth ringing them and moaning.
Mate they're offering anyone who phones to cancel Sky Sports massive discounts at the moment. They do it every year at this time. It's because the football season has ended and their subscriber numbers plummet.
I wont be buying the fight. Sky take enough money off me as it is and I dont want to give them any more. There should be a disclaimer when signing up for the Sports package... Get Sky Sports but from time to time you'll have to pay extra for boxing so we can line our pockets and those of the boxers.
They are blaming the promoter for the fee.As I understand it sky are the promoter for this fight,they are paying the fighters wages.
I've been away at a course all week, just heard about the cancellations when I came on here. Too late as I got the bird to phone up and order it earlier. he got it for £7 though as it wasn't working on interactive and we're not getting it on sky plus either because of it.
I called after reading this and they let me cancel! By some quirk I will get it for 31 days free though... I suspect that's why they didn't offer the discount
