I think it was early but he was certainly on his way out sooner rather than later so the ref probably did Smigga a favour in the long run.

even though i was impressed with DeGale, very very impressed the fight just made me more confident of a Groves win. A big Super Middle with any ounce of class will be able to cause DeGale problems. Honestly Kenny Anderson would destroy Smith.
degale will stop groves , groves struggled getting away from kenny's aggressive attack's and kenny aint got hand speed like degale.
