Don't know a huge amount about these two, both unbeaten, should be a good fight, any thoughts on who will come out on top ? Just checked the odds 1/7 for Smith, guess that says it all !
For the life of me, I can't work out how Kelly has landed this title fight. Kelly seems decent, but hasn't been in with anyone remotely approaching Smith's level; Kelly's last 3 opponents were 12-10-3 (TKO3), 19-7 (TKO3), and 16-6-3 (UD10) when he fought them. I think Smith stays patient and insistent, gradually ramping up the pressure from the 3rd round, and stops Kelly around the 8th or 9th. Kelly, who is still only 23, could come again, rebuilding at European level.
