Fights like Floyd and everyone is on his nuts, but Floyd fights like that and he's a boring coward? Lomachenko ran the whole fight. LMAO.
Just because he didn't march forward brainlessly the whole fight doesn't mean he ran the whole time. He got in exchanges and let his hands go in spots.
He has a vastly different style than Floyd. Floyd is course more seasoned, and therefore has layers to his game. Loma is still young and is learning. I was a bit confused by all the movement Loma used. Russell had nothing on his shots, and Loma seemed to get the better of it when he pressed the attack. There where a couple of rounds where he basically gave the round away. Anyways, he still looked pretty good and won decisively.
But generally if you show any kind of boxing technique and skill you're considered a boring coward... IE, Ward/Floyd. But apparently when you're a white guy you're considered a brilliant boxer.
His primary style is being aggressive, changes the angles up to find opening for clean punches, great defence while doing so. When he is on the back foot he can be boring as he doesn't counter but rather focuses on defence only. But Lomachenko is very exciting when applying pressure. Enjoy watching Floyd , Ward and Lomachenko but other than being great defensive fighters they don't have the same style.
