He's challenging Wlad ... he's just trying to cash out and he's not going to be taken serious.

He hasn't taken a major step up in class and if he does fight Wlad and loses brutally then he'll be just like everyone thought - not ready.

I think that he should be calling out fellow olympic gold medalist - Alexander Povetkin, both fight in Europe and both have a name ... it would be nothing to make the fight happen.

    What do you guys think?

    call in Dimitrenko

he's big, prime and in good shape

and he's also a Ukrainian fighting out of Germany. I think thats the smart choice here.

Solis needs to beat the Rob Calloway/Vinnie Maddelone/Zuri Lawrence calibur fighters before he'd ever been seen as a legit world class contender.

He needs to fight a world class opponent ... especially someone who's around his age and skill level.

I think KJ might give Wlad a good fight, out of the three wanting to fight Wlad I think he'd have the best chance of winning. Solis deserves a title shot as much as Minto but I hope Minto would get it first. Valuev should go for it since his fight was canceled. If these guys don't get the nod they should fight eachother. KJ vs Solis, KJ-Minto or Solis-Minto. None of those fights have a bad ring to them.
Why isn't Aerelo asking for a title fight. That could be a great fight.

Unless there's someone I don't know about who keeps full time training camp, there aren't many legitimate options:

    - Nicolai Valuev
    - Kali Meehan
    - Lamon Brewster
    - Taras Bidenko
    - Oliver McCall

Those are the only guys with a fight close enough that they'd be in proper shape, that I can think of.

Wladimir should fight Dimitrenko or Chambers.
