sonnen v bones...

Other thread got me thinking...IF Anderson fights sonnen and LOSES.. and bones keeps clearing up the lightheavys....could chael be persuaded to move up and challenge bones?.... I know chael moved down from lhw before and Jones is a ****in monster but could chaels all action powerhouse wrestling and ground and pound be a good match for Jones... The stand up guys have failed, how bout an aggressive wrestling match....

Would love to see it.. A title defense against Davis or Evans could be a preview.

 

Maybe even happen before chael fights Anderson given Andersons ongoing injury problems...that kinda **** would appeal to sonnen confrontational nature I think.....win lose or draw I fought him when you wouldn't kinda vibe...

 

I would LOVE to see the reaction from the haters if Chael was the man to dethrone Bones out of nowhere. :rofl

I got Bones pulling guard and winning via triangle within the first 3 minutes.

 

Chael would take him down with ease..mark my words, so with Rashad. I dont think there is a man walking God's green Earth Chael cant take down.

 

Sonnen wouldn't take Jones down, because he'd either get rattled with clean power shots on the way in or get taken down and controlled himself.

Still, I'd be very interested to see this fight anyway. Sonnen is one teak-tough SOB, he'd give it a spirited go before getting stomped.

He'd give Bones a better scrap than a china-chinned pretender like Rashad, that's for sure.

 

He would get annihilated, but he would take the fight. Aint no one with bigger brass than Sonnen

 

I would say that Jones got some brass for taking the Shogun fight one month after beating Bader.

Chael had the brass to take the Anderson fight but not the brass to do more than hold him down on the canvas.

 

He did damn more than just lie on him. He punched, slapped and facepalmed the **** outta him. Its not his fault Andersons got an iron head

And look at the way he fought Silva. No fear. Half of Silvas opponents are terrified of him. Chael was fearless

Penn has the biggest brass in the UFC. When Sonnen moves up to lhw and fights the three best lhw's of his era multiple times, you let me know.
