Watanabe is one of the best examples I can think of. Obviously Hagler as well.

Michael Mooer esp as a lightheavyweight.
Early Carl Daniels=he gave prime Norris a hell of a fight.
Gary Hinton was a slick southpaw.
Johhny Bumphus didn't do well in the pros but man could he throw beautiful combinations when he was on.
Kassim Ouma at one point.
Rolando Navarrette-threw compact punches.
Early Boza Edwards-more of a stylist early in his career.

Hector Camacho for movement.
Jim Watt had a nice style as well.
Saldivar for applying smart pressure.

 

The guy that came to my mind is a little unorthodox, does not look (to me) great on film....Reminds me of Larry Bird, in that he looked so ordinary and beatable but was pretty darn good:

Michael Moorer, although his footwork wasnt great at heavyweight

 

My first thought was a guy most probably see as a puncher /boxer,but I don't, to me he is a mechanic first, and a puncher second.
Marvin Hagler.

 

Believe it or not, Michael Moorer is a pretty textbook example of a southpaw boxer puncher.
