This guy sounds like a real cruiserweight banger.

I can't imagine any cruiser getting Carlos De Leon out of there in two looking at what he stood up to against Holyfield.... But Gordon did it.

What do you guys know about him?

Big hitter but somewhat uninspired. He caught an overconfident De Leon by surprise in memory serves me correct and Carlos easily schooled him in the return. I just can't for the life of me remember why S.T. stopped fighting (practically) after the rematch.

I remember the DeLeon upset ... Carlos was caught off guard and S.T. really teed off on him and crushed him ... to Carlos credit he came back and defeated S.T. I also remember S.T. winning a decision over Trevor Berbick by outworking the overconfident Berbick ... S.T. looked big as a cruiser but small next to a heavyweight like Berbick ...

I think early on, he lost to Gerry Cooney by a technical decision.Had no business beating Trevor Berbick, and was lucky to catch Carlos DeLeon at the right time.

Has anyone seen Gordon's stoppage win over Yaqui Lopez, or know of any footage existing? I've always wanted to see that fight, but can't seem to find anyone who has it.
