I think its pretty embarrasing that he has to be shaparoned around in a state where he can barely talk. Especially at the place he was the headline act 2 and a half years ago.
you can see the arrogance dripping off Wicky there, from the start where the interviewer asks him who's gonna win. The look of contempt from Hatton, and agressive look, betrays his real nature (and not the good-natured one Wicky tries to constantly tell he has) and suggests the man cannot handle his drink and so is another reason to kick the habit. The fact is Hatton has already conned people out of millions, so he may not feel the need to keep up the act any more, both in and out of the ring.
