Stats in Boxing

    I wish there were more statistics in boxing like there are in other sports. For example, in rematches, what % of fighters win the 2nd fight that have won the 1st fight. Additionally, does modern day boxing use advanced analytics in any way?

    You could write a program. Get the source code from Boxrec and figure out what you want to know. Sounds like an Intro to Python kind of project, I could do it in under 1 hour

    Pointless. Styles make fights. The most repeated stat I'm hearing these days is KO percentage. Never mentions quality of opposition. IMO boxing does not lend itself well to stats.
