Just thought i'd let everyone know I underwent an operation on my left hand yesterday morning. The doc (Mike Hayton - top hand specialist by the way if anyone has any problems ha) said the injury was worse than first thought but the operation went well. The hand is now in a plaster cast and its just a matter of letting it heal up. Everyone obvioulsy heals at different rates but looks like i'll be out for a few months at least. To be honest mate ive had an ongoing problem for a while, then completely f*ck*d it in the Simpson fight (i blame Johns hard head ). No on a serious note, the doc said it will heal well so fingers crossed this is the end of it.
Good news. Do not rush back or do anything stupid. Age and ability is on your side and we aill be waiting to cheer you on early next year I guess.

Nice one Stephen, just thought i'd let you know that i defied the odds and actually managed to watch your fight when i was out in Menorca. i was running around looking for a bar showing it and eventually found it. Managed to conivince my misses to watch the fight, telling her that you posted on this forum. was a good night, drinking san miguel watching the fight. Congrats!
