I think he is pretty bad, when he is on international cards he is actually OK but he is awful when home fighters are involved.
Same with any pundit or commentator in any sport. People don't like them and it is usually because they don't agree with them on something. Quite childish really. Bunce has good knowledge, and shows bags of enthusiasm, and has a good rapport with the fighters as well. He can be irritating, but honestly, who isn't?
Has there been a thread criticizing Adam Smith? I cannot stand his stuff. I don't think he actually mentions anything going on In the fight, just usually drones on about such a fighter being a "Great Family man" at some point in the fight.
All his lines are pre-scripted as well Indian Call Centre style. He simply shouts his lines out whn event a,b or c ...... happens during the fight.
Yeah, the whole SKY team deserve to be silenced forever too, that's not in doubt. I don't think even SKY pretend Adam Smith is an "expert pundit" though. He's just the plastic commentator, the bland version of an Alan Partridge.
I like Buncey to be honest, I can see why he'd annoy people and he does exaggerate at times but him over Adam Smith any day!
I miss the good old days when buncey was a regular on here think he said something out of line a couple of times and everyone on here jumped on him for it so he had enough in the end I like him, he tends to sit on the fence a bit and has to keep quiet so he doesn't upset his boss you could see after the degale fight before they went on air that frank and bunce had had a disagreement I cant stand that other commentator, Ronald McIntosh, bloody awful!!! "his opponent there, keeping him at bay with those long tentacle like arms of his" wtf???
Ronald is a legend! Uses phrases like "dominated this second stanza" etc. Buncey is great as well - seriously - check his book out.
