I read his book years ago. Saw alot of his fights. I know the book left off with the Eubank fights. He was also married to a woman named Gamma and had a few kids. Can anyone fill me in on whats become of him since then? I know he made a few movie cameo's.

I haven't actually heard anything from him since he confidently backed Enzo to knock out Haye.

If he's doing good, nice to hear.

i had a great day in his company a few years back...himself and sean mannion were telling me about their days in boston and sparring so much together..
we were sat watching jimmy white doing a pool tournament exhibition thing..
he's a sound fella, but you can tell by chatting with him that he's not the type to get on the wrong side of...

last time i seen him on tv was some sas challenge thing, on 5 i think, he scared the **** out of the guys that were meant to be intimidating him in the interrogation....wouldnt mess with him...still looked hard as nails!

Had a world class chin, stamina and self belief and underated power. Beat the best of the 90's fighters in the UK twice. Benn and Eubank. He would have given Calzaghe a hell of a battle, even more so if it was a few years earlier. He got out at the right time too!

Was more of a Benn fan and certainly think Nigel post Gerald Mclellan was nowhere the fighter mentally, how could he be. Think Eubank was past his best too when Collins won but not taking it away from Collins he was a real tough and yea gifted fighter (what would you expect from an Irish lad starting out in Boston!) i've heard previously he's a good bloke too, back up on here which is great.

Know theres a bad nickname thread on here but Steve's is certainly one of the most well-earned
