Fonfara deserves a rematch and with his win over Chavez Jr it raised his profile even higher. I see this fight being a big money fight for both who wins this rematch and why?

I agree, but we want Stevenson-Kovalev too. Do you think Stevenson should rematch Fonfara first?

I think people let their memories run away with them in regards to the first fight.

It was particularly close. Fonfara had a strong few rounds, but it wasnt close as a 12 round fight

Lets's just be honest, Stevenson-Kovalev is not getting made anytime soon. This fight would be easy to make and would be easy to sell to the public as well. Fonfara gave Stevenson hell and just beat down a big name in Chavez. I really don't see a better option out there for either man at this point. A rematch is the logical choice here.

I have no issue with that. Fonfara should be his next choice UNLESS Kovalev magically happens.

This rematch makes a lot of sense, especially with the Kovalev fight not happening any time soon.

Didn't Kovalev turn down a fight with Stevenson recently?. Stevenson will most likely rematch Fonfara.

stevenson was the one who ran to showtime to avoid kovalev:hi:

It was not smart business sense for kovalev to risk the purse bid

Stevenson beats him again. Probably by UD, but maybe by stoppage this time.

Sure... I don't mind seeing a rematch only after Stevenson finally fights kovalev .

Also I see Fonfara losing this fight once again though .

Better than Stevenson digging up graves for opponents I suppose.. But we all want to see Stevenson/Kovalev.

And if Stevenson does rematch Fonfara & loses, then we can really forget about Kovalev vs Stevenson from ever happening.

But then we will have Kovalev vs Fonfara to look forward to. Doesn't sound quite as exciting as a Krusher vs Adonis fight, though.

Maybe not but it's the best case we can hope for, since Stevenson-Kovalev isn't going to happen this year. Kovavlev-Fonfara should be an easy fight to make right?

Well, if Kovalev-Stevenson isn't happening, I'd rather see Hopkins-Fonfara, then Hopkins-Stevenson. I'm not really sure how realistic that scenario is however. Kovalev-Stevenson is obviously the first choice though.
