the way i see it, before 6 its a 65/35 chance win for adonis, if its after 6 then a 70/30 chance win kovalev

i think its a good fight and tough for both, but kovalev being the better technical boxer i have not seen his chin tested by a hard puncher...i really think it would be an interesting fight and the winner would definantly be declared lhw scary man nobody wants to face, not that they arent in that class now

As much as I think Stevenson drills past a lot of high ranking guys, I do think Kovalev would be all wrong for him.

I think Stevenson would have a better chance against Ward moving up than he would Kovalev. Call me crazy. I've also said for a year now that Adonis gives all the top guys at 168 and 175 the most dangerous fight out there and that was seen as questionable... at the time.

I'd tend to go with Kovalev, though I do admit to personal bias, but as always when, 2 big hitters go at it you just never know.

For now, I'd say Stevensons whiskers are still suspect after the Boone KO though, but I've never actually seen Kovs. jaw tested.

Kovalev has the advantage in skill I would say, but I'm unsure of the stamina of either into the late rounds - they so rarely go that far.

As for Stevenson-Dawson, the KO was impressive but owes as much to Dawson's carelessness as Stevensons power. KO1s are always special to watch, but often are a lot to do with the victim just not being settled into 'fight mode'. I'm not trying to detract from Stevensons victory, just saying that I didn't learn much from it.

I'm hoping the Kovalev - White fight next week will answer some more questions about Kovalev. The win over Campillo was pretty special, but Campillos obvious lack of form left it difficult to evaluate.

Kovalev would wreck Stevenson. Stevenson needs to cash in right now with easy fights. Cloud is the first that comes to mind.
