Ward is blatantly ducking Stevenson because he knows he'd get KTFO if he ever fought him outside of Oakland. Stevenson would expose Ward as a bum and a coward.
If he shot him with a gun probably, in the ring with gloves winning more than one round would be miracle!!!
He has a punchers chance, but it took him way longer to murder Don George than Truax and Francisco Sierra took, he almost made the distance
Ward is too much for Stevenson to handle. Ward would beat him up on the inside and outbox him on the outside. Stevenson would have to land a lucky punch.
guys like Ward who are boring as ****, but very good, need to take fights like these because: many of us believe that throwback forces of Nature can **** up these technical set studs. Ward needs to show hey a powerful murderous puncher who I don't have a huge physical advantage over can be crushed with my superior skills. It would make more people, want to see him. This makes a guy no one really cares to see but who admittedly is the top, seem like a *****, when he refuses a killer in a fight like this. No one really gives a damn about a Ward fight, well here is a good reason to see one and Ward refuses.
Stevensons a physical, powerful guy, with the proven one punch KO. What I think is massively unproven is his ability to box. For me that power will always give him a chance, but against a savvy fighter like a Ward or a BHop I think he would be tied-up, neutralised and made to look clumsy. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the big punch KO artists, but I like to see that they can box as well. With Stevenson I've yet to be convinced that that's the case.
