Im tired of hearing ''this is bad for British boxing''. Or ''this is great for British boxing''. Or ''I don't like him but he's good for British boxing''. Who gives a **** about British boxing just sit down, watch the fight and shut the **** up. Adam Smith says it about 40 times when he's commentating. You don't ever hear footballers saying he's great for British football. Same thing happened at the Khan weigh in. After the scrap everyone started with the ''this is bad for boxing'' rubbish. atsch
That didn't happen, a few people overreacted but most on here were calling it "handbags" and no big deal.
to be fair Gaz, it is the standard line people use to justify themselves talking bad about another boxer. You hear a boxer slag off another boxer like there's no tommorow and then they end it with "but you know, I wish him good luck cuz it's good for British boxing if he does well". No you don't wish him good luck you're just waiting for the day he gets knocked out! Which is cool but don't pretend you know what I'm saying right?
I do have one eye on British boxing and what I think would benefit it when I'm watching or posting on boxing but no more than that. Don't most people on here? Also the example Dog gave of the Khan weigh-in was way off the mark...
