My Uncle was the best street fighter in our town for many years, he never got in a ring in his life.

To be fair I'd favour a trained fighter over a random scrub from the street.

Actually, I'd favour a boxer over many of the more "casual" fighting arts like Judo etc because a boxer typically is much better conditioned than a guy that does Judo twice a week at the club.

But when you come to serious mixed martial artists who train as hard as boxers do, then I have to go with the MMA guy, who will typically do boxing anyway as part of his skillset.

I agree ,I was just making an observation. I think I'd take a boxer over an MMA guy where the fight would be stand up ,not on the floor, plus a trained boxer delivers a punch better than just about anyone.

Agree there ^. Even kickboxers can have a tough time against a decent boxer. Unless they can get to leg kick. That's usually a b itch for anybody that's not used to them.

Off the top of my pointy head, I'd add:

Joe Frazier (heart of a lion)

    "Tex" Cobb (tough!)

I'd just have one man. Tonga Fifita aka Haku/Meng of WWE fame, any man who bites another guys nose off I'd want in a street fight.

I'm surprised how few lists have Tyson. He was a street fighter as a kid, has been to prison, had crazy speed and power, bit a man's ear off in a professional boxing match, beat up Mitch Green in a street fight, and once defended himself against a couple of guys who attacked him with a pole. No way I'm taking any smaller men over him, especially in this context!

Benn allegedly punch a man's nose off in a street fight, but I'd go all heavyweights.

    Foreman
    Tyson
    Chuvalo
    Marciano
    McCall

Tokyo Douglas as an honorable mention

I believe he also smashed a glass ashtray into a mans face in a nightclub, so he isn't averse to picking up anything that happens to be lying around!
I think he'd be a nightmare in the street, a real nasty b******!

If we are using ambience as a weapon, then I believe I'd have Bas Rutten on my team. His video makes it clear that he has considered every possible item as a weapon, and knows how to handle his hot sauce.

Is this the same Bas Rutten who claimed Bruce Lee was fake because he used a 'fake chokehold' at the start of Enter The Dragon?
