A bout between Nick Diaz and Paul Daley is currently in the works. Edit - It is now officially Diaz vs Cyborg.

    Bouts in the works include:
    Ronaldo Souza vs. Robbie Lawler
    Jason Miller vs. Tim Kennedy
    Roger Gracie vs. Trevor Prangley
    Herschel Walker vs. Scott Carson

January 29, 2011 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California

Souza vs Lalwer is great. Souza is an awesome grappler with good stand up but will he risk it with Lawler like Babalu did.

Miller vs Kennedy is a good fight.

Gracie vs Prangley is a serious step up.

Walker is only in his 2nd fight so it is early days.

Diaz vs Daley would be fire works if it was kept standing.

Shaping up to be a nice card so far. Although i dont care much for the "freakshow" bout with Herschel. Amusing none the less i suppose.
Personally iv got Jacare over Lawler. I really think Lawler has his hands full there. And when are they going to get Manhoef back on a card!?!? How about Manhoef Randleman at 205 :)

Herschel Walker should only fight on Challengers cards. I don't care how popular he is outside of MMA, his presence means one less worthy, relevant fight.

No kidding even Fedor's fans must be getting sick of this crap, he's not getting younger and wasting all this time so M1 can maximize profits and try to **** SF.

I think that rumor is BS man 30 is Jan 29th and 31 is March 5th or 6th something like that I doubt Strikeforce will squeeze an event in there.

According to Sherdog.com the bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Antonio ''Big Foot'' Silva has been pushed back to February. A source close to the situation could not confirm whether a deal between Strikeforce and M-1 Global has been signed, but it has been agreed in principle that Fedor's next opponent will be Antonio Silva.

StrikeForce CEO Scott Coker had this to say:

''You know how these things are, they go back and forth. We send them documents; they send them back... we want changes; they want changes. I'm just trying to get the lawyers to hurry and finish it up so we can make some great fights. It's hard to talk about opponents. Normally, you talk to someone about opponents only after you have a contract with somebody. We're working through the final stages of the deal. We are not there yet, I wish we were.''

'' I can tell you (Silva) will be fighting in a relatively short amount of time here. I f Fedor doesn't work out, we'll just move forward and have (Junior) fight someone else. But I'd like to wrap this thing up with M-1 as fast as possible.''

Coker also said that he was pushing for Fedor to take on Strikeforce's Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem, but Overeem will be taking a few months off after he won the K-1 WGP last weekend in Japan.

oh come on Cyborg-Diaz sucks, i'm really disappointed i would have liked pretty much anyone else then Cyborg lol.

Cyborg is a warrior and comes to fight but does he really even stand the slightest chance? i think time was becoming a problem and Diaz didn't want no tough opponent with such little time to prepare.

Short notice fight, Cyborg comes to fight, he did blow out a decent foe in Zaromskis. Cyborg finishes fights - 11ko's in 18 wins is good. He should make it interesting as long as it lasts.

This fight is meant to be a filler until Coker can build Daley or convince Diaz to fight Miller.
