Which eras for MWs do you consider stronger than others?

Hard to overlook the 40's, of course, with guys like Robinson, Moore, Charles, LaMotta, Burley, Zale etc. Too bad there isn't more footage, though.

Late 80's, early 90's also seem like a very strong era, and with ample amounts of footage to make a judgement from. Nunn, Kalambay, McCallum, Hearns, Eubank, Watson, Toney, Benn, McClellan, Jackson, Hopkins and RJJ being the main ones.

Other than those? The 60's with Tiger, Benton and others? 20's with Walker, Greb and Flowers? Others?

mid-1930s to early 1940s was very strong but the championship was disputed for most of it.

I'm a big fan the 60's with Giardello, Benton, Tiger, Archer, Fullmer, Robinson. All if them had very different styles and they were very competitive with each. Giardello and Tiger fought four times and split the series.

It's hard to argue with the 40's or late 80's being the best but I personally like the competitiveness of the 60's.

Late 70's is pretty good with an aging Monzon, Valdez, Briscoe, young emerging Hagler. Not the greatest era but good nonetheless.

    How about the 1890's?

Bob Fitzsimmons, Kid McCoy, and Tommy Ryan, then also Dan Creedon, Jack Dempsey (though at the end of his career), Jim Hall, Tommy West, Jack Root, Frank Craig etc.

This is a terrific era but hard to judge for certain due to lack of footage
