Yeah. Tyson used to win bets benching 225 at 12 years old when he was at Spofford Detention Center. 225 - at 12 years old.

Nothing rude in asking a question. I have followed boxing for the past 25 years, and have been a passionate powerlifter for 20 years. I have read about these guys and their accomplishments in the weight room, foreman is a given, basically all his opponents rave about how strong he is to deal with, even at 48 he bullied briggs around. Rahman has benched more than 400 pounds, and was recognised by the ring around 2000 as probably the strongest heavy in the game at that time.
Tua grazed the back page off the ring showing his immensily big, powerfull legs. I have read about him squatting around 500 pounds with relative ease. Tyson, well had he competed against lewis in a who can lift more meet, it would be lewis who would have been creamed......Tyson was-is a strong bencher, basically his build, like with tua is blessed for power....

Remember Johnny Nelson saying that Junior Witter used to lift as much as he did in the gym.
