Stuart Hall looks like he will be unifying with the WBA champ...

Can't blame Moreno for wanting it, easy title.

Given that Hall can only fight on Boxnation a cash out might be the best option for him. I'd like to see him fight Haskins but clearly that's a 50/50 fight and not for much money.

Doesn't say much about Hobson's view on Hall, clearly.

A boring predictable response. I'll show Hall more respect once he gives McDonnell a chance to win his world title back. Seriously picking Martin ****ing Ward as a challenger was an embarrasment and deserves no respect at all.

A runner from who ? Hobson ? Don't be so ****ing stupid, he ran away from his promotor so he doesn't deserve to fight for a title he never lost again ? Idiot.

If McDonnell wants the belt back he will have to beg Hobson for a shot @ Hall with options and be prepared to do it on BoxNation..
Granted we dont know the full story but from the outside looking in Hobson put his hand in his pocket without live tv support to get Jaime the shot in his home town then after he wins Jaime tried to fuc him and run to Barrow Boy Hearn with the belt..:yep

Maybe McDonnell should ask his promoter fast car to make Hall one of his ''monster offers'' to face him on sky?

McDonnell won't get another chance from Hobson, whatever happened we don't know the full story. This situation however highlights a big wrong in boxing, promotors have far to much power. The IBF should be issuing Hall notice that McDonnell is his mandatory but they aren't and Hobson won't go near him.

Hall will be the first to say he fears no one and will fight anyone then why not push for the guy who is the rightful champion, why not prove to the doubters he can beat a world champion instead of fighting a guy who isn't better than domestic level, seriously a defence against Martin Ward was a complete embarrassment.

I don't really know Moreno at all so won't comment on the potential outcome but surely Hall should be facing a mandatory challenger next? Just had a peek at the IBF top 15 and there isn't either a number 1 or number 2. How does that work are they going to parachute in these fighters at some stage in the future? McDonnell at three but he should be at one seeing as how he never lost the title...

Hearn stated yesterday that Hall wants to fight McDonnell on Sky (he's been given a six figure offer apparently) but can't because of his TV situation. It's a shame because that's a domestic world title fight which would be ideal for the Froch/Groves undercard.

Mate, Jaime wasnt exactly some dominant champion was he - he beat a good kid for the vacant title in his home town...the same as Hall really. Ok, he holds a victory over Stuart but both have had defeats at domestic level anyway. I dont think we can accuse Hall of ducking by having a unification fight with this Chemito kid who looks better then McDonnell. If McDonnell was still Champion and fighting with Matchroom do you think Hearn would have given him a harder first defence then Ward? Considering some of the disgracefull softies he's booked for the likes of Quigg and in particular Mitchell etc I think you know the answer. I agree with you In general about the powers of promoters but McDonnell made the choice to leave for the so called greener grass of matchroom/sky but he should have perhaps have taken some independant legal advice rather then just listen to fast car who was completley out manourved by Hobson politically with the IBF despite being the biggest/best promoter in the UK in many peoples opinions - (not mine)

McDonnell was not a dominant champion but he was champion, he won a vacant belt that the previous champion ( LSC ) let go at his own free will, Hall won a vacant title that was stripped because of legal bull****. It's ok saying IF he fights Moreno, that fight isn't signed, let's wait and see what kind of opponent Hobson picks.

I also have to take issue with your point that under Hearn McDonnells first defence wouldn't have been better than Ward, 110% it would have. I'm no saying McDonnell would have won it and walked straight into a unification fight against a Moreno type fighter but I do believe without any doubt whoever he picked would have been better than Martin Ward, a domestic level fighter.
