Stupid Question

    I have a very stupid question to ask:
    Why are there some fights that didn't go the distance but still the points are shown on sites like boxrec and some fights where you don´t know the scores?
    For example: WK against Thompson. At the time of the stoppage the points were 98-92 (twice) and 99-91. But there are no points for the chambers fight, Peter II, Byrd II and so on.
    Is it about official rules of the alphabet soup?

    It's just a matter of their checking. You can get review the scorecards on a KO win by going to the local commission, but otherwise you're generally not going to find them out. Some fights people will go and verify the cards, and others don't.
