It is said that Felix Sturm just turned down 1.5 million euros to fight Abraham, this is over 2 million dollars. I think he knows that if he loses his title to Abraham he won't get any more good paydays.

I think he knows that there will be no 'ifs'. He definitely will lose to Abraham, and get ktfo in the process.

How many other fights would he have to take to reach 2 million?

Everyone lets have a think here. Sturm vs Abraham is the biggest fight ever in Germany. Sturm should be earning close to $3 million Euros. Hes right to reject 1.5. Sturm is every chance of winning everyone.

Dam, I wonder if this is true. That's quite a lot of money to turn down.

Sturm is turning down Abraham and Pavlik consistently for the last year. He is a joke.

Nah, 1.5 Mio Euros are not enough for a fight like that. That fight would be nearly as big as a Klitschko fight with about 10 Million households watching it. Wlad made 13 Million in his last fight - and had nearly 20 Million watchers in Germany alone. 3-4 Mio each should be in it.
You should also consider that Sturm is with Universum/ZDF and Abraham is with Sauerland/ARD. Two different promoters and TV stations. Fights between fighters of these promoters have only happened in the past when one fighter was mandatory. So, I think it´s sure to say it´s not Sturm´s fault that this fight didn´t happen yet.

    About 2. He get´s between 700,000 and 1 Mio for a fight.

I agree. It´s either Sturm on points or Abraham by KO. I lean to Abe but that is no safe pick.

BS. The situation with Abraham I explained before and why sould he fight Pavlik when he earns more fighting a challenger in Germany :huh I would love to see this fight but Pavlik has to up the ante.

The balls in Pavliks court. If Pavlik wants this fight he could have asked to be ranked by the WBA. Obviously he doesn't.
