Walcott schools him until he clowns one time too many and loses by KO.

Walcott is not durable enough to last with Dempsey. Any one punch at any time ends the fight.

I think Dempsey would win this but not very confident in that.

If it's the jersey of the first marciano bout then he has a decent chance of winning. I presume this is a ten rounder? It could work in Joe's favour. If he went 13 rounds of hell with marciano, I believe he can go ten with a past it demps. Of course Walcott has to be vigilant, Jack proved he could still drop you at that age. So if he can avoid getting tagged, keep moving and not get to confident, dropping his gloves etc, then he builds up a points win.

Yeah the 10 round distance gives Walcott a much better chance. He might survive ten and be ahead on points at the end.

If it was 15 rounds I'd definitely say Dempsey. An old Louis stopped Walcott in 11, Marciano did it in 13. I think a 1927 comeback Dempsey gets the job done sometime between the 7th and 12th.

Yep in agreement there. He would be so far in front, Walcott would get lax. Over confident he'll suddenly get caught, I see it some where around the 11 th. Dempsey will unleash a bombardment of punches and Joe will crash.
