Sunny backed himself his whole career and nobody can deny that he's a decent to very decent boxer, he has a lot of ability and he just came up short against the best. I think some people would rather boxers talked themselves down, anyone with half a brain would understand why Sunny Edwards was a little brash in his earlier fights, he was selling himself to the public in a weight division that is very hard to get the casuals interested in.
