Arthur Abraham - 10549 miles. Mikkell Kessler - 5593 Carl Froch - 5024 Jermain Taylor - 4937 Glen Johnson - 4126 Andre Dirrell - 3666 Allan Green - 2514 Andre Ward - 353 Even more reason why this is unfair is the result of each fight towards the home fighter: Abraham beat Taylor Dirrell beat Abraham Froch beat Dirrell Ward beat Kessler Ward beat Green Kessler beat Froch Ward beat Abraham There has yet to be an upset in a fighters home town. The final should not, in the interests of fairness, be held anywhere in America. If it has to be because of TV, then it should, undoubtedly, be held on the east coast.
That Ward distance made me laugh. what a wanker. This whole tournements been set up for American money, American money is the biggest earner in boxing, its been set up for Americans to spend watching Americans, preferably in America. When a guys pulled out they are quick to throw in another American cuz Americans love to watch Americans (theres nothing wrong with that). Theres no way in the world the final wont be in America. Lets just hope its not in Oakland infront of a ref and judging panel of Oaklanders. Cuz that is bull****.
I didn't include any of the hometown fights for Froch, Abraham, Dirrell and that includes Ward. The only time he travelled was from one city in California to another city in California. Pathetic.
And how about the Bika fight? How the **** can they justify Ward having a fight out of the competition when Johnson came in at the exact same time and was included.
I really dont know, at one point it turned into a bit of a farce, all to make sure the American fighters were looked after. This comp has been far from perfect. I still dont really believe half the bollocks that came about when Ward should of been facing Dirrell.
It's gonna be in the US obviously. I'd go for Vegas or MSG. Ward has looked the most impressive but he hasn't at to cope with any extra problems. Unashamedly blatant favouritism.
