if dirrell loses to ward and froch loses to abraham who will progress to the semi finals along with ward kessler( presuming he gets by green) and abraham? both will have two points!

Froch because he won over Dirrell? Not totally sure though. If true that would be controversial.

I actually see this outcome as a likely possibility. The only question mark for me is if Kessler is really gonna beat Green. But if Green wins...that would leave a 4 way tie for 3rd and 4th place (Kessler, Froch, Direll, and Green all with 2pts). Ward with 6 (assuming he decisions Green and Direll) and Abraham with 5 or 6 (assuming he beats Froch or KOs him).

froch would advance because of the head to head I think. and yea that would have a lot of people pretty upset.
scenario: let's say ward defeats green - does he phone it in against dirrell to advance in the tournament since they are friends/both americans? i know it's a longshot, especially since we saw how kessler and froch went after each other, but that fight will be very interesting.

can't see ward giving it away, at the end of the day that 0 will make him mad money while it lasts, everyone likes a unbeaten fighter. I hope froch makes it through and abraham or kessler.

i'd like to see ward, green, froch, and kessler although I think that may be an impossible scenario.

Regardless of the standings, I see the tournament boiling down to Froch vs. Ward.

If boxers have the same amount of points than they will count the rounds that the judges have given each boxer, so the boxer with most rounds won will do through.

It says so in the Super Six contract, I think a quick google will find it :)

Head to head result is the first tiebreaker, so Froch would be ahead of Dirrell if they finish level on points, Kessler would be ahead of Froch if they finish level on points.
