Hello - I am looking to get back into weights after a long layoff, could you recommend any supplements or drinks to help with gaining more energy beforehand and not being as tired afterwards. Thanks

Work with minimal supplements when you start. IMO they work much better, and are more effective when you bring them in for a plateu.

Minimal supplements.. A good protein powder, and some L-glutamine powder for recovery.

I would do creatine once you have been lifting a little while and have started to plateu as far as results in gaining size.

Most weight loss pills are heavily based on caffein, green tea and sometimes CLA.

Other things like, Nitric oxide are sort of a waste of money, if you use them, wait until you really hit a plateu and see if they help.

Get a decent protein powder - and take it at the correct times.

Remember that Supplements are there only to assist you - they are not the be all and end all. If your diet is not spot on you may as well pi$$ your money up the wall.

CNP Pro Recovery after a workout is the best by far IMO. I can't fault it - and if you are going to take a protein supplement, then after a workout is the ideal time.
