    Swarmers don't have hand speed.

Since when was "hand speed" a needed attribute of a Swarmer?

There was never a display of "hand speed" in that fight from ODLH.

He was throwing pretty fast when he had Floyd on the ropes, but the reason you're getting the responses you're getting is because pure boxers and boxer-punchers are usually known for their hand speed.

    :good

He should go take a look at Smokin' Joe or Brandon Rios. Then ask if he REALLY wants to be a Swarmer.

A Swarmer needs to be cut from a different cloth. Teflon coated carbon fiber cloth! :hey

If you're a boxer puncher then be a boxer puncher. No offense, but some people were built for swarming and others for boxing.

Even if Muhammad Ali wanted to become a swarmer, he wouldn't of been able to. If Joe Frazier wanted to be a boxer puncher, he wouldn't have been able to.

Accept your strengths and work with what you have. Hey, I want to fight like Larry Holmes or Thomas Hearns but I always end up fighting like Marvin Hagler. Good luck.
